GM diet, also known as the General Motors diet, is a plan that promises to help you lose up to 6.8 kg in just one week. 

This technique includes diet that stimulates weight loss and helps burn fat faster than other diets.

  • Enhance ability to burn fat. 
  • Get rid of impurities and toxins in your body. 
  • Improve the digestion.

What do you eat on the diet?

The General Motors (GM) diet is divided into seven days, with different rules that apply to each day.

It recommends to drink 8–12 glasses of water each day in order to stay hydrated throughout the diet.

Exercise is not required for weight loss on this diet. In fact, the diet recommends against exercise during the first three days. 

Day 1

All fruits – except bananas.

8 to 12 glasses of water.

Day 2

Cooked or uncooked vegetables of your choice without oil.

8 to 12 glasses of water.

Day 3

All fruits – except bananas.

Cooked or uncooked vegetables (except potatoes) of your choice without oil.

8 to 12 glasses of water.

Day 4

8 to 10 bananas.

3 to 4 glasses of milk.

8 to 12 glasses of water.

Day 5

6 tomatoes.

One cup of brown rice.

12 to 15 glasses of water.

Day 6

One cup of brown rice.

Cooked or uncooked vegetables (except potatoes) of your choice without oil.

8 to 12 glasses of water.

Day 7

One cup of brown rice.

Any vegetables.

All fruit juices.
